Being fluent in multiple languages has given me many advantages throughout my personal and professional life. I was able to combine my education in IT with the passion of learning new languages into building a successful career in Information Technologies, programming in a few different languages. For the past few years, I have also enjoyed teaching my native language to a small group of young children.

As an adult, I have always enjoyed teaching and have been tutoring young children on various subjects for the past 17+ years. My love for travel and passion for exploring foreign languages and cultures has landed me a position at an amazing airline company where I interact with people from all over the world on a daily basis.
Spanish Elementary
Sarah Grunkemeyer
Sarah Grunkemeyer serves as Polyfluent’s Spanish Language Specialist Intern for the Summer 2026 program. In her role, she supports the development and delivery of Spanish language learning experiences for elementary‑aged students participating in the Polyfluent Summer Camp. Her work includes preparing instructional materials, designing age‑appropriate cultural and linguistic activities, and assisting with the implementation of Spanish lessons throughout the program.
Sarah contributes to Polyfluent’s mission by bringing her background as a native Spanish speaker and her experience teaching and tutoring young learners. Her internship combines curriculum preparation, virtual and hybrid collaboration, and hands‑on teaching during the camp session.

Joanna Black
Joanna Black is a passionate teacher at PolyFluent with a deep love for the Polish language and culture. Born in Poland, Joanna brings a rich cultural perspective to her teaching at PolyFluent Language School, where she inspires students to explore and embrace multilingualism. Now residing in Fort Thomas, she balances her professional dedication with her role as a proud mother of two. Joanna’s enthusiasm for teaching and her commitment to sharing the beauty of the Polish language makes her an invaluable part of the PolyFluent team and her community.
